Hibiscus Margarita Cocktail Recipe
Valentine's Day is 'round the corner, and if you need a delicious, easy to make and oh-so-pretty cocktail to serve at your party, or to your best gals, then this post is for you!
I've been into hibiscus cocktails since last summer, as I just love the pretty colors and floral notes it gives to any drink. So naturally, I turned to hibiscus to add a touch of "je ne sais quoi" to my classic Margarita cocktail recipe!
Hibiscus Margarita Cocktail Recipe
I love how pretty this cocktail is, and so befitting a girls' night in or Galentine's Day soiree!
To make my hibiscus Margarita, I simply added a homemade hibiscus syrup to my classic cocktail recipe.
Because the syrup is already sweet, I didn't need to add any Agave syrup or other sweetener. But feel free to sweeten your cocktail to taste.
To make it even more fun, why not set up a Margarita bar for your guests to serve themselves and concoct their own libations this Valentine's Day?!
You can make the hibiscus syrup the night before, or even a week ahead, and keep it covered in the fridge until ready to shake your cocktails!
To garnish my delicious Margarita cocktail, I went with the classic salt rim and lime wedges, as well as the beautiful hibiscus flowers (optional).
