4th of July Coca-Cola® Stars & Stripes Cupcake Recipe
Disclosure: This post is sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company, and I may have received goods and/or compensation for it, but all opinions are my own.
So for my 4th of July party with Coca-Cola®, I combined my love of the drink with my fave go-to recipe for a super moist, fluffy and scrumptious 4th of July Stars and Stripes chocolate cupcake.
So I was really happy to use it in my recipe, and decided to give the cupcakes a red, white and blue, stars and stripes look for the occasion.
When pushed for time, I always use boxed cakes and simply bake them according to packet instructions for birthday cakes, or bake them into individual baking cups if making cupcakes.
It's a little cheat that I am totally okay with ;)
The recipe usually calls for cream or milk.
But since this was a Coca-Cola® party, I naturally used what I love most instead ;)
The Coke flavor is really subtle, but does come through, and gives the cupcakes a really fluffy, moist texture but also a hint of caramel-flavor.
It's not too sweet either, and therefore is perfectly balanced when topped with lashings of vanilla bean frosting and sugar sprinkles. YUM!

Well this was interesting. What were the balls on top. Were can we get a printed recipe? They are pretty but need more instructions to print out and to make I think.
