Apple and Cinnamon Punch Cocktail
We're ending our apple-themed month of posts here on the blog with a toast. An apple and cinnamon punch cocktail toast, to be precise.
This cocktail embodies all things fall with its seasonal flavors and its amber good-looks. Not to mention that it's a super easy-to-make recipe that will take you beautifully all the way into Thanksgiving!
You can make this cocktail in a shaker and play bartender in front of your guests, or simply make a big batch ahead of your party to serve a thirsty crowd. Both recipes given below for your pleasure. You're welcome! 😉
As you probably gathered from our latest apple-themed posts here on the blog, I LOVE the combination of apple and cinnamon. It's one of my favorite flavors of all.
In fact, I could sprinkle cinnamon on anything!
Did you know that apparently cinnamon is great for reducing cholesterol, that it lowers blood-sugar levels, has anti-inflammatory properties and is loaded with antioxidants? Me neither!
And I read that the humble apple is also packed with antioxidants, flavonoids and dietary fiber, and may help reduce cholesterol, the risk of stroke and even help prevent dementia?!
Apart from the alcohol in this recipe, everything else seems to be good for ya, then? 😆 The more reason to make it this fall!
Of course, you can totally skip the alcohol and make a mocktail version of this delicious drink instead. It would be great for serving at family gatherings this season!
