Today is the last day of February and since it's a leap year, I got thinking that a really cute Frog Birthday Party might be a fun theme for any little birthday boy - And of course it reminded me of the very first styled party I created entirely from scratch for my kid's two years ago! The Little Frog printable party collection was one of my early designs, along with my very own matching new fabric designs , first attempt at sugar   cookie decorating , first attempt at party cupcake baking , first attempt at sugar lollipop making...you get the picture. So it holds a very special place in my heart!

As you probably can tell, this party theme is all about a much loved comic-book superhero but due to copyright issues, I have decided to call it a " Spider Hero" party !  ;) My dear friend Smita from The Party Wall styled this magnificent party for her little boy Sohan, and it was featured on Amy Atlas and  Bird's Party Magazine Fall Issue 2011 ! She used some of our Spider Hero party printables  combined other the licensed images to create a true marvel ! - d'ya see what I did there? hehe  Below are all the stunning details as told by Smita...

The styled shoot for my NEW Wild West Cowboy Party Collection was a thing of a classic, slapstick comedy... The ispiration for this party theme came to me when my I saw my cowboy/farmer neighbor ploughing the field in front of our house to make hay in the summer . The thing is, the hay is collected within 3 days and if I wanted any hay bales in my shoot , this was my (very narrow) window of opportunity...

I'm so in the mood for boy's parties at the moment (hence my dinosaur party post yesterday..)!! Call it "a stroke of artistic ingeniousness" (hehe) or "designer gone totally bonkers"...because for my newest Nautical Party Collection , I decided to style the same printable collection, in two distinctive party styles: Rustic and Preppy! It worked out better than I thought I must say, and I hope it shows how versatile printables are! AND how one printable party theme, can suit any decorating style you choose! We all get inspired by what we see and experience, online, in real life, ( on Pinterest ) and often by talented friends and peers who just have the magic touch and transform anything they do or create into a magical experience ! This is so true for the case of my dear friend Chris Nease from Celebrations at Home . I have been very fortunate to have worked with Chris on a number of occasions, namely for Bird's Party Online Magazine and she's always been a source of mega talent and inspiration to me! So much so, that I like to call her " Party Fairy " :)

I always have so much fun looking at how our sweet and talented customers style their parties and through the photos they send in afterward, I get to learn of new,  exciting ways to use our printables !
