Are you getting married or know someone who is? Then today's post is for you! My youngest sister is currently engaged, and she asked me to help build a website for her wedding, which is something I so wish was in vogue back when I got married! I love that you can create an accessible-to-all space online dedicated to the happy couple, with all the fun, heartfelt and useful information about their special day! 😍
DIY Pedestal Candy Jars
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Gorilla Glue Company. All opinions are 100% mine. Whether you're planning a birthday party, a baby shower, a wedding or simply styling a seasonal desserts table, pedestal candy jars are a must to take your desserts and candy to new heights. Literally!
DIY Geometric Himmeli Party Decor
We're now stocking oh-so-pretty gold foil party straws in the shop, and apart from their obvious function as drink straws, they also make oh-so-pretty geometric decorations for our party tables, party backdrops or as hanging decor to embellish any party or home space. And since wedding season is here, I decided to craft a few simple decor pieces to show you how versatile they are as a party prop! ;)
DIY Bridal Shower & Wedding Decorations
I wish Pinterest was around when I got married. The amount of fun DIY inspiration and creative ideas...oh my! No matter how little or how much you're actually doing yourself, nothing beats getting stuck in, hands on. If nothing else, simply to have a keepsake or fun memory of something made with love, by you! And being able to say in years to come - "Oh this?! I made it!" ;)
10 Stunning Tablescapes in Green and Gold
St Patrick's Day is just around the corner, so we've been inspired by all things green and gold! Gold is in our party palettes most time of the year, but couple with emerald hues in Feb., it makes for a classy and grown-up festive combination for any St Paddy's Day dinner parties, family gatherings, and of course seasonal weddings!
Galantine's Day Valentine's Bar Cart Styling
Galantine's parties are everywhere! And I LOVE it! Love the fact the Valentine's day has become synonymous with just spreading the love, and not necessarily a couples' thang... And LOVE even more, the idea of sipping cocktails, eating delicious morsels, and just celebrating with your gal pals!! So to help you along, I styled this super simple bar cart. Quick too!
Tic Tac® DIY Wedding Favor Idea with Printables
If you follow me on Instagram , would've have seen a little sneak peak of today's post using Tic Tac ® mints as a wedding favor idea. Tic Tac's goal is to "Shake Things Up" , and I was thrilled when they asked me to come up with a fun packaging idea for a wedding favor! Tic Tac® packs remind me confetti, little colored sprinkles, perfect for weddings. So I wanted a modern vibe for the packaging, something that would be meaningful for a wedding, but also add a modern/funky twist to shake thing up ;) Naturally, I turned to printables. And glitter. 'Cause if you can't have a bit of bling on your wedding day...when can ya?!
Sweet Heart Valentine's Day Desserts Table & Printables
My daughter loves pink, and I love red. So this year, I decided to go 100% down the girly route for our Valentine's Day styled shoot! I adored designing our NEW Valentine's Day printables , and working with some of the party supplies we carry in the shop , like those mini gumball machines, which I am just in love with! ♥ And if you follow me on Instagram , you'd have seen that being surrounded by all that candy is my idea of a heaven! Check out all the photos and styling ideas below. Warning: Glitter and girly sweetness featured heavily (and some crazy photo-bomber...).
Bejeweled Pink Rose Truffles Recipe
This is the last post of Wedding series for HGTV , and we're ending on a super sweet note! These pretty truffles are super yummy but so easy to make - as with anything I bake ;) Their "bejeweled" effect is achieved by rolling the truffles in pink sugar pearls.
DIY Tea Cup Scented Candles Tutorial
You probably have seen the cute tea candles I used in the latest wedding story for HGTV here. So today I thought I'd share the tutorial step-by-step on how I made those. I used melt-and-pour wax, which makes for a super simple process, and anyone can do it (NOT for kids though, as it involves hot wax!)
DIY Wedding Confetti Cones with Free Printables
Happy Monday!! Ready to start a week on a crafty note?! :) These easy to make paper confetti cones are the perfect adornments to wedding reception chairs. Fill them with confetti or rose petals as in this case, for a sweet-smelling and mega romantic feel! ♥
DIY Wedding Table Number with Free Printables
As part of my recent wedding story for HGTV , I got to play with spray paint and create my very own mini pedestal stands. I had found some vintage pink saucers in a flea marked, and all I needed was to spray paint some ceramic candlesticks to match. I have to say I was hooked - Not only was it easy to make, so pretty, but also way more inexpensive than buying individual stands. Now I have all sorts of plans for making larger DIY ceramic cake and cupcake stand - So watch this space! ;)
