DIY Rustic Log Tree Stump Pedestal Cake Stand

DIY Rustic Log Tree Stump Pedestal Cake Stand

As promised last week, I'm sharing today the tutorial on how I made my Rustic Log Cake Stand . These babies brand new, can set you back at least $30, so making your own is a steal, and totally more fun too! ;) They are ideal for a rustic wedding or birthday party or Fall celebration - how about a woodland birthday party (think Red Riding Hood , Bambi , Vintage Snow White , Camping Party ...) but also perfect for those rustic, shabby chic bridal or baby showers or weddings too!

How to Make a Toadstool Birthday Cake

How to Make a Toadstool Birthday Cake

As promised in my last post,    I'm sharing the step-by-step tutorial on How To Make a Toadstool Cake today! I've always wanted to bake a toadstool cake, and styling our Pixie Fairy Party gave the perfect opportunity to head to the kitchen and get a little creative and adventurous. Now, I feel I need to add a little disclaimer here, to let you know I'm no professional baker and this was my total invention and first time making a toadstool cake. But hopefully it also shows that if I can do it (and super easily, I may add), then anyone can too! ;)

A Pink Pixie Fairy Birthday Party

A Pink Pixie Fairy Birthday Party

I had so much fun styling this party!  It gave me a chance to re-work our existing Pixie Fairy Designs from lilac to pink, and to create a simple yet charming kids birthday party! Usually it takes me a good four months to plan a party from scratch (mostly because I'm a control freak who loves to DIY all aspects from printable, to baking and photography...), but for this one I wanted to incorporate simple decor ideas and create a magical ambiance that anyone can pull together quickly and without much fuss . So check out the results, plus my super easy DIY party planning tips below - Oh, and the toadstool cake tutorial is also homemade, so watch out for a tutorial coming your way soon! ;)

Alejandra used our lilac and green  Pixie Fairy Party Printables to style a magical birthday party and deserts table for her adorable little girl, Carolina. I love handmade parties, the ones where mom creates each little details with love and care, and this one is totally the case and super inspiring as a result! Check out the details as told by Alejandra herself:
