As part of our inspiration week, we couldn't finish without a super fun theme for the boys . Or girls for that matter, 'cause we actually get just as many sweet customers styling it for their birthday girls ! In fact, the theme came about from my own love of science . You probably don't know this, but I used to be an chemical engineer before parties took over my life...anyways, I relished the chance to design something that included a lab coat, molecular structure designs, and the good ol' test tube . Not to mention a nod to the Periodic Table ! :) Here are some party ideas to help inspire your own science-filled  Blue and Green Mad Scientist Bash !

This color party theme has to be one of my favorites. I think it has a lot to do with my love of red and all things 'toadstools' . Don't ask me to reason with you, but there's just something so whimsical about them!  Anyways, if you're also mad on this birthday party or color palette, then here's are some ideas for a woodland themed Little Red Riding Hood inspired birthday party . And yes, it's all about themed party inspiration this week. What's not to ♥?!

Not sure why, but when I think 'Mardi Gras party', I think flamboyant peacock . Maybe it stems from childhood, watching the amazing Rio caraval parade or  escolas de samba strutting their stuff on the sambadrome of Sapucaí  !  So peacock' it is for today's inspirational Paint My Party post. Okay, so some of us are still feeling the chill, but what better way to escape to sunnier climes than with a little Nautical inspired party eye candy ?!  I've been nursing a cold since last week (boooo), and am determined to lift my spirits anyway I can, so visualization of all things "summery and hot" totally gets my vote!  Besides, I know for a fact, that our Aussie, Brazilian and southern hemisphere party friends will also appreciate the post! ;)

Back with the Valentine's vibe this week, starting today with another  Paint My Party  post.  Red and pink have to be one of my fave color combos, and Valentine's is the perfect holiday occasion to indulge. So this year I'm not holding back!

Have you ever been tempted to go monochrome for Halloween? I did last year , and totally loved it! Monochrome is sleek, is chic and is one of the Fall color trends for 2013. What's not to love?! I think this palette is really easy to pull together (think mummies, spiders, bats, crows...) and really helps to add an air of  grown-up sophistication to Halloween festivities.
