On with our Brazilian food week, today I bring you an easy to make savory appetizer that also packs a ton of flavor! Kibbe (also kibe or kibbeh) originally a Middle-Eastern dish brought to Brazil by immigrants, but now it's been thoroughly embedded in Brazilian culture and cuisine, so you always find at parties, bars, restaurants...it's become one of their most popular dishes! And it's a perfect appetizer or snack when you're watching the Olympic Games in Rio this year! ;)
The Olympics in Rio has truly kicked off (are you watching the games?), and in homage to the host country, we've embarked on a Brazilian culinary journey here on the blog, to bring you some of Brazil's most popular recipes and dishes! And today we bring you one of their most popular party treats, called beijinho , which in Portuguese means "little kiss". You'll see why when you taste them ;)

If you're on Instagram you probably would have seen that drip cakes are taking over the cake world right now. Well, ever since I've set eyes on them, I've been itching to bake one! So for our flamingo pool party (see photos here) , I decided to get baking. It turns out, not only drip cakes are not that difficult to make and taste super yum, but they will totally steal the show on any desserts table! :)
