When I was fourteen, my school organized a crafts sale, and we had to make all sorts of handmade decor items to sell, including scented candles. We made star-shaped candles, triangular candles, round candles...they smelled sooooo good and I was hooked for life! On candles. Candle-making is one of my favorite crafts ever! Hey friends, Easter is 'round the corner and I've decided to share with you one of my favorite recipes EVER - Hot cross buns !! These delicious, lightly spiced sweet bread rolls make for the perfect Easter breakfast, lunch or treat and are quite simple to make too! If for some reason or another you haven't done any crafty things for Easter, fear not! Today I 'm showing you an easy-peasy, express DIY craft that even a child can do - Tried and tested by yours truly and her gang of mini helpers. Every year, the Easter bunny hides chocolate eggs around our garden, and leaves us clues as to where they're hidden. The texts changes every year, but it's basically little notes written in rhyme with cute little clues - Isn't the Easter bunny such a darling?! :)
As always, I love finding novel ways to use party printables, and this is how these little Easter B unny Push-up Pops came about. I had some printable bunny cupcake wrappers left from my Easter Kids' Egg Hunt Party photo shoot, and couldn't bear to throw them out, so I got my trusty puncher out and few supplies, and voila - Easy and super quick Easter Push-Pop Centerpiece that doubles as party favors holder. Life doesn't get sweet that that for a party nerd like me! :)
I recently saw a recipe on Pinterest with a dessert served inside an egg shell. Well, my being to total chocoholic that I am, I thought to myself " wouldn't it be great if the shells were made of chocolate too?! " - 'Cause it's a know fact there's NO such thing as "too much chocolate"! So I set off on a culinary experiment to make it as easy as possible to serve my chocolate mousse inside chocolate egg shells - BUT without the fuss of making the shells from scratch! ;)
As promised in my Easter brunch post , today I'll be sharing the how-to for that gorgeous, but oh-so-simple, DIY floral table runner! This year I wanted something very colorful and very floral for my Easter brunch table, but that was also easy to make (possibly made in advance) and that packed the wow factor! I think this floral table runner ticks all the boxes, non?! 😊
