This year, Halloween is a little more demure at ours. So, I opted for creating a few decorations that would reflect a "calmer" and more cozy vibe with neutral colors and a more paired-down style. To be honest, I much rather prefer this black and white, clean, modern monochrome vibe than anything too loud anyways! Not to mention that, (apart from the spider webs) this décor can be re-purposed for the November and Fall months too!
Fall Coffee Bar, DIY Farmhouse Decor and FREE Printables
I'm a coffee lover and cannot lie! ☕🥰 So naturally, I take so much pleasure in creating a little coffee nook in the studio and changing its decor each season. Especially since we've been spending so much at home lately, a designated coffee bar or coffee station adds such a fun and cozy vibe to any room, especially during the cooler Fall season! Sometimes I like to "go all out", particularly for the Holidays, and add some sweet treats to my coffee bar like the coffee and donuts bar I styled last winter . But for now, here are some easy DIY crafts that you can replicate to decorate your coffee bar for Fall!
Scandinavian Inspired DIY Blush Tablescape and Decor for Fall
Even though the temps are still pretty hot where I live, Fall is officially here! Inspired by all the pretty autumnal colors around my garden and the local French countryside, I styled a blush tablescape that would be perfect for any celebration you may be hosting this season. Or simply to dress a pretty table for brunch! Since some of us are still homeschooling or working from home, I find that adding little touches of seasonal décor and comfort, not only serve to "dress up" the space we're living in, but also helps to cheer things up a bit!
Now that school has started, I find myself making this gluten-free banana bread in batches on the weekend, and serving it up for breakfast, snack and dessert throughout the week! This is such a quick and easy recipe to make, not to mention that it's also gluten free (my husband is gluten intolerant) and is super nutritious too! I like to serve it with fresh fruit, yogurt or cream cheese, and a drizzle of honey for a wholesome start to our day. But in all honesty, this banana bread is pretty tasty on its own, and needs nothing else. Apart from maybe a cup of coffee on the side? 😉

I know summer is nearly over, but fear not! With this t ropical, savory rice dish you're sure to keep those summer vibes going a little while longer! 😉 Plus, it makes a great lunch or bento box addition! This tropical rice dish is something we serve quite a lot in summer, as it pairs beautifully with barbecued or grilled meats. But it's also a great dish on its own with a side salad, if you don't fancy firing up the grill!
