DIY Origami Paper Christmas Trees
When it comes to creating a table centerpiece (or any decor for that matter) that's original and inexpensive, I turn to paper! Bonus points if you can re-purpose, re-use or recycle papers you may already have around the home, like I did for my Origami Christmas Trees table centerpiece this year.
My Black & Gold Christmas Party Tablescape
This year, I started re-decorating my office and was immersed in a color palette and all matter of pretty, geometric, gold objects since summer. And I just can't get enough of it!! So much so, that I decide to inject a little black and gold, geometric action into my Christmas table decor. Recipe | Scottish Shortbread Christmas Tree Cookies
Okay, so the traditional Scottish shortbread cookie aren't really meant to be "Christmas trees". They're just baked in a round cake pan, then cut into triangles. But I think if you dip them in chocolate and sprinkle with sugar stars like I did, they totally look the part, don't you think? :) Therefore PERFECT for Christmas and Holiday parties!

Christmas Party Ideas | North Pole Breakfast
Christmas is 'round the corner! Can you believe it?! One of my favorite traditions in our house, is the Christmas themed breakfast . Whether on Christmas eve, a few days before or Christmas morning itself, going all out this time of year to treat the little ones is all part of the joy! Most week days it's our schedules and 'routine' breakfast rituals that take over. And since kids wake up at silly o' clock at Christmas anyways, you might a swell roll with it! Plus, it's also nice for me to prepare something a little more special and magical for my little elves ;)

DIY Santa Claus Cake Pops Recipe
If you follow me on Instagram , you'd have seen a few sneak peeks of these cute Santa cake pops , and today I'm sharing the easy step-by-step tutorial. My seven year old daughter helped me with these ( you can see her little hands in the photos, bless ) and they are perfect to entertain little ones over the Holiday period.
I (Crissy) organized a Bunco party to celebrate my daughter’s 14th Birthday and her friends had so much fun that we decided to host a Holiday Mother/Daughter Bunco! If you have never played BUNCO, I strongly recommend to give a try! It is so much fun! You can find the rules HERE .
This Gingerbread House Decorating Party by our Crissy is styled with kids in mind, and the perfect party theme to keep them occupied at Christmas. But with so many adorable details, I'm sure it will appeal to the grown-ups too! This theme was one of my faves to design, and I can't wait to host a gingerbread decorating party with my kids this year! Thanks for the inspiration Crissy! ;)
My friend's parties always put a smile on my face at the very least. The uniqueness dazzles me, and the themes always surprise. Not sure what it is, but she also inspires me to rhyme. Take this Bumble Yeti inspired playdate for example, full of furry-licious details to make anyone's heart melt! Check out all the glittery drama as told by the glitter whisperer herself.
