My daughter has been obsessed with slime for a couple of years now. She's forever watching YouTube videos about making slime at home, buying slime whenever she sees it in the shops, and basically just driving me crazy talking about slime. Can you relate, mamas? 😋 I've always been anti-slime myself. I mean, anything sticky that may cling to your carpet, hair and floors and that involves "wasting" household ingredients like washing-up liquid or flour...didn't spark joy for me. Buuuut, I completely changed my mind once I made slime myself!

DIY Cactus Place Card Holders
I'm forever in search on fun activities to keep the kids amused and entertained during spring break, so craft projects often come to my rescue! Now that my kids are a little older, finger painting just doesn't cut it as a craft anymore, 😋 but luckily, they love polymer clay for creating fun and useful objects like key-rings, jewelry, photo-holders, etc. These DIY cactus place-card holders are our latest craft project, and they're perfect for celebrating Cinco de Mayo, which is nearly upon us!
Thank you Alex Toys for sponsoring this post. If you follow the blog, you probably already know how much my little girl loves crafting. She has even started sharing a few of her favorite DIY craft ideas and projects in our Kids' Crafts blog segments! ( You can see them all here ). For her birthday last month, we planned a craft party at home with lots of fun DIY stations like sewing, slime-making, and jewelry crafts. She loved this birthday theme so much, and the kids had tons of fun getting creative and crafting together! Plus, it was a really relaxed and easy party to set up, so I thought I'd re-create some of our party ideas to share with you guys today!
