No-Bake Pumpkin Spice Parfaits Recipe
Thanksgiving is 'round the corner, and if you need a quick, easy and above all, no-bake dessert recipe; then this post is for you! 😉 As a lover of all things pumpkin and pumpkin spice, I was looking for tasty ways to use up the tons of pumpkins we have in the house this time of year... So I came up with these tasty parfaits that are slightly inspired by my pumpkin Tiramisu recipe, which I shared a few years ago here.
For my Dia de Los Muertos dinner part , I made delicious Mexican Almond Horchata to serve to my guests alongside our fun sugar skull cookies (recipe for the cookies here). Horchata is a delicious, non-alcoholic drink that is perfect for the whole family and ideal for fall entertaining! It's traditionally served cold over ice, but my kids love it as a warm drink on cold days!
Jack-O'-Lantern Halloween Cookie Cake
My obsession with these cookie cakes started this summer when I made my very first cookie cake in the shape of a pineapple . Since then, I've been dreaming up other fun shapes to create, hence today's Jack-O'-Lantern inspired Halloween cookie cake! This cookie cake is SO easy to make and combines the best of both cookie and cake worlds - buttery shortbread cookies, sandwiched together with chocolate cream cheese frosting, topped with ridiculous amounts of candy. Well, it is Halloween after all! 🎃🍬👻
Did you see my Day of The Dead dinner party tablescape I shared last week? For the occasion, I made these super fun but oh-so easy sugar skull cookies, inspired by our NEW Dia de Los Muertos printable decorations and invitations . I LOVED the process so much, and even my daughter joined in the decorating fun! 😊

This Halloween cake looks quite impressive, right?! But it's a cinch to decorate and even the kids can help! 😉 I used mainly sugar paste and cookie cutters to help me decorate it. So if I can, you can too!
Homemade Pumpkin Spice Irish Cream Cocktail
Nothing says Fall better than pumpkins. And pumpkin spice. And pumpkin spice lattes. So naturally, when it comes to my happy-hour this season, I reach for an indulgent cocktail that combines all these Fall flavors in a glass - My homemade Pumpkin Spice Irish Cream!
Summer is coming to an end, but the warmer temps are still here and that is more than enough to have me reaching for a summer cocktails to cool off! Are you the same? Usually, I'm a Mojito kinda gal in summer. But with all the abundant seasonal fruits in the house, I find that a Daiquiri is the answer to a fruity and refreshing beverage, like you probably saw in this post .

Serve up a delicious platter of nibble-size food or snacks and I'm all over it! 😍 But serving a delicious AND nutritious party appetizer can often be a challenge, I find. Especially if you have adults and kids present at an event or family gathering and have to cater for various palates.
Have you seen these amazing, trendy cream tarts in shapes of numbers and letters, taking over Instagram and Pinterest ? Well, I personally like to call them "cookie cakes" instead because, well, they look like layered cake to me! They're basically two giant sugar cookies sandwiched together with some sort of frosting in the middle, and decorated on top with tons (and I mean tons) of candy, fruit, macarons, chocolate, edible flowers...you're only limited to your imagination when it comes to the decor of these cookie cakes!
