DIY Hatching Chicks Cake Pops Recipe
My kid's Barnyard Birthday Party was posted a couple of days ago, but already have a few emails asking me about the cake pop chicks, so I think you're gonna like this post! ;) I was inspired by a fabulously talented friend from Lynlee's Petite Cakes when I made these "Hatching Chick" cake pops - I remembered seeing Lynlee's similar idea using fondant sugar paste and push-up pops on Bird's Party Magazine Issue 5 , and thought I could make a similar chick but with cake pops instead!
Rustic Farmhouse Apple and Berry Pie Recipe
Following on from yesterday's Barnyard Birthday post , this is the recipe for the " Farmhouse Apple and Berry Pie " I made instead of a birthday cake! I always like to incorporate a lot of handmade details in my styled parties, but this time around I was also in full prep for Bird's Party Magazine Fall Issue , and hence my shortcuts - Instead of a fancy decorated cake, I opted for a farmhouse-style, rustic fruit pie for my kid's Barnyard Birthday this year . I'm no Nigella, so "rustic" is the operative word here! ;)
My Kids' Joint Barnyard Farm Birthday Party
I love thinking of fun, unique ideas and twists on popular birthday themes, and it was no different for my children this year - We always have a joint party as they were born on the same day but two years part, and the Barnyard Farm Theme was a perfect solution for their 5th and 7th birthday celebrations! I did snap loads of pics a usual, but below's a taster of the day...Oh, and because I made a lot of the stuff by hand, there'll be some tutorials coming all this week! :)
Aqua and Orange Baby Shower by Celebrations and Sweet Creations Though I hate to admit it, I know I've been slacking a bit in the link party front, but hoping to get back into the swing of things...So forgive me? :) I've now visited all the links from our last linky, and LOVED seeing all the amazing creativity from all your linked up party posts! So thank you for your patience and for taking the time to join us!
October is nearly upon us, and I thought it would be a really nice idea to share with you a beautiful Pink October Tea Party styled by a very dear friend of mine, Gillian from Crumbs of Comfort Cake Design for Bird's Party Magazine Fall Issue . I designed the Pink October Printables inspired by Gillians resilience, courage and strength as a survivor from Breast Cancer. The word survivor , really is a befitting word to describe the stunning, strong, hard-working and empowering person that is Gillian - Check out her story below.
Excited to see some of our Halloween Party Ideas on Kiki Magazine October 2012 Issue !! It's my the second time working with Kiki Magazine, and as always has been a real treat - No tricks! (pun intended hehe)
A Taste of Tuscany | An Italian Fall Dinner Party
This lush, seasonal and vibrant dinner party was styled by the talented Katie from Petite Social , for Bird's Party Magazine Fall Issue . I simply loved the theme and ideas straight away, and started designing the printables taking inspiration from the colors, hues and scents of Fall - with an added Italian vibe off course!

Happy Monday everyone! As promised in our Princess Pumpkin Party post last week, I just wanted to show you how to make a cute and very simple little pumpkin princess scepter using some of the party printables from the collection. A Pumpkin Princess Birthday Tea Party
My dear, sweet friend Marcie Lenick from Celebrating The Moments , is the talent behind the concept and styling of this fabulous, autumnal birthday party! Marcie asked me to add a dash of orange to the pink Princess Party Collection I already had, and create a Pumpkin Princess Printable Kit for a fabulous Fall Birthday Tea Party she was styling for a client. I love the theme and colors for a Fall birthday, and Marcie kindly agreed to share her photos and party details below - Hope you feel inspired by all the fabulousness! :)
