That's it, summer's officially over! My kids got back to school this week, and the cooler temps are already beckoning for all things Fall, like pumpkin spice lattes and cozy craft sessions in front of the TV 😊 So today I'm sharing a couple of super cute, and simple DIY projects that are perfect to get your office or school life organized and oh-so pretty!
Summer is upon us, and apart from drinking sangria all day, I'm dreaming about crafting all sorts of fun, colorful and seasonal party accessories, like these custom summer sun hats! Wouldn't they be so cool for a pool or beach party?! I made these for a summer party shoot I styled a few weeks ago (as you probably saw in my Instagram stories ?) and they looked so fab and were so easy to make, that I had to share the DIY tutorial here with you guys!
Paper anything is my jam. But paper flowers are my particular favorites! I mean, you take a fairly simple, banal, flat piece of paper and fashion it into something 3-D, beautiful and super practical. What's not to love?! And did I mention they're so easy to craft? Yep, despite their intricate looks, they're a cinch to make, and one of those DIYs that even the kids can help with!

When I was fourteen, my school organized a crafts sale, and we had to make all sorts of handmade decor items to sell, including scented candles. We made star-shaped candles, triangular candles, round candles...they smelled sooooo good and I was hooked for life! On candles. Candle-making is one of my favorite crafts ever! These pretty pink bow napkins with their copper monogram napkin rings are one of my favorite projects from my Pink and Copper Christmas party this year! They're also a super quick and easy DIY to embellish any holiday table, so you totally can use what you probably already have at home or tailor them to your color scheme or table theme.

December is 'round the corner so it's the perfect time to be thinking about your Advent Calendars! I always seem to leave it too late, I must confess. But this year, I pulled my crafty stash out last week and made this baby in one afternoon with the help of my little elves 😊 ( Did you see my Instagram stories? ) Seriously, it's the perfect, EASY craft for an afternoon with the kiddos! Plus, it doesn't hurt that it shimmers with all sorts of metallic ornaments and pretty glitter, shiny papers, right?!

And no unicorn birthday party is complete without unicorn headbands, right?! So my daughter and I crafted some cute party favors headbands that also double as pretty unicorn photo booth props! 😊
As promised in my Easter brunch post , today I'll be sharing the how-to for that gorgeous, but oh-so-simple, DIY floral table runner! This year I wanted something very colorful and very floral for my Easter brunch table, but that was also easy to make (possibly made in advance) and that packed the wow factor! I think this floral table runner ticks all the boxes, non?! 😊
As part of my green and gold Christmas Holiday tablescape , I made these cute DIY glitter ornaments to act as place-card holders on my party table. They helped add a little shimmer and sparkle to each place-setting, and were SO easy and quick to make! I made them the night before the party. Just shows you can create something special and last-minute, without much effort. And THAT is my fav kind of craft!! 😉
