DIY Balloon & Fronds Tropical Party Centerpiece - BirdsParty.com

One of my favorite elements of the Party Like Pineapple birthday table was for sure, the balloon and fronds centerpiece!

Originally, I wanted to hang a balloons garland above the dessert and drinks station, but when I was making it on the dining table, I realized it would make a fab tropical centerpiece! And so a new idea was born!

DIY Superhero Birthday Cupcake Stand

DIY Superhero Birthday Cupcake Stand

Did you catch the super awesome Superhero themed birthday party we shared earlier in the week? It was super creative and gave me the idea to use some of the printables to create a super colorful cupcake stand. This DIY is mega easy and you can make larger stands by varying the sizes, or even make several tiers like in this tutorial I shared a while back . The principle is the exact same.

As part of our #SocialCircus month, I decided to make a fun  DIY Carousel Centerpiece - But one made with party supplies and candy (is there a better kind?!) that anyone may have in the house at the time of the birthday party. So I raided my party shop and grabbed  paper plates ,  candy tubes and dinky striped paper straws . How to Make a DIY Crepe or Tissue Paper Tassel Garland

How to Make a DIY Crepe or Tissue Paper Tassel Garland

For my Valentine's Day shoot , I wanted a giant balloon as my table backdrop. But the balloon cord looked naked and boring, so I decided to jazz it up with some tissue paper tassels . Tissue paper tassels are all the rage in the party world, and have been for a while now, but they are new to me in the sense that I only used them once before. And for this occasion, I didn't have time to order any nor buy tissue paper to make them myself. All I had was crepe paper left over from this shoot . So, what's a party gal to do? Yes, make do, of course! ;) I wasn't sure if was even gonna work...but guess what?! Crepe paper has hidden talents!! Full tutorial below.
