There are so many things I love about fall. The cooler evenings, the changing colors of the leaves outside, the beautiful harvest produce on our tables, and the magical lighting this time of year are just a few of my favorite things about it! My tablescape this year was inspired by the luxurious, tactile and elegant hues of velvet, to create a jewel toned Thanksgiving table decor. You see, I've been obsessed with velvet pumpkins since I saws them on Pinterest last year. So this year, I decided to make my own velvet pumpkins , and chose some gorgeous velvet fabric for the project, which in turn inspired my entire Thanksgiving tablescape!
I love styling tablescapes. Even before having a blog, setting a pretty table was always something that I looked forward to each holiday and special occasion. I love dreaming up new colors, patterns, textures and creative details to dress and embellish my party tables.
