The Frozen Disney movie has been a hit with kids worldwide. My daughter is obsessed with Anna and Elsa, and can't stop humming "Let it Go..." :) And so I am super excited to finally jump in the band wagon of the whole Frozen-mania 'round here. Today's party will dazzle and wow you, as it did me! It has lots of DIY decorations, stunning details and clever decor ideas that stay true to this popular Disney film theme, without falling prey to using copyrighted images. And that in my book is super fresh indeed!
The Oscars is on Sunday, if you're a last-minute gal; then you'll LOVE this post! Don't know about you, but pajamas is my go-to outfit for watching anything on TV. But there are such a occasions when a party is planned and you have guests 'round, so my casual-every-day-attire-of-choice is frowned upon... On such occasions, I wanna look like I've made an effort. Between getting the mag ready , fighting attacks of winter colds and sniffles, re-stocking the shops , while doing a blog re-vamp (BTW, not even finished!) = slacking on the freebies printables front. I've been hyping up about the mag for a few weeks now, and so happy to say it's finally out! It's our 11th issue, and I can honestly say one of the most FUN to put together. Mainly because after a few issues, you get to realize what does and what doesn't tick your party boxes! And that quality over quantity is always the way forward. And that if it's not fun, then you might as well forget it! And that LOVE is all you need! ♥

Either that, or a real life remote control that copies and pastes. With an 'undo' button of course! I know a girl can dream, but while this Cinderella waits for technology to catch up with the fairy-tale, there's nothing stopping me playing fairy-godmother...in the party arena at least. And it's a great way to start the new year! 'Cause "being party-fairy-godmother" is a genuine resolution, right?! ;)

Christmas is 'round the corner! Can you believe it?! One of my favorite traditions in our house, is the Christmas themed breakfast . Whether on Christmas eve, a few days before or Christmas morning itself, going all out this time of year to treat the little ones is all part of the joy! Most week days it's our schedules and 'routine' breakfast rituals that take over. And since kids wake up at silly o' clock at Christmas anyways, you might a swell roll with it! Plus, it's also nice for me to prepare something a little more special and magical for my little elves ;)
Following on from yesterday's Santa inspired post, I thought I'd share the DIY for the cupcakes I made to match my Christmas Candyland desserts table . I used sugar paste f ondant and printable toppers to decorate the cupcakes. It's not rocket science - more like playing with modelling clay! :)

Being in charge of Thanksgiving dinner can seem like a daunting task. Even for the most discerning hostess. Between cooking the perfect turkey, the gravy, the stuffing, or setting the perfect table...the to-do list can seem endless! But the key is to prep as much as you can in advance. And ask for help! So in the spirit of sharing, I've compiled a collection of recipes to help you on your way - Including several turkey recipe ideas, sides, condiments, desserts and treats (making my mouth water already...).
“Where’d you get those awesome Christmas cards?” is one of the things we all love to hear after choosing, creating and sending Christmas cards each year, right?! ;) And the answer (for me, at least!) is always Pear Tree. The cards that everyone loves the most are usually their unique holiday photo cards that have special interactive features like their new spinner cards, or picture frame cards . Last year we did a round up of gorgeous tablescape for Thanksgiving , so this year we're sharing some fun party ideas for the kids table. This stunning Thanksgiving party was featured first on Bird's Party Magazine a while back, and styled by Alexandra from Enchanted Events and Designs. The idea is to make the Thanksgiving kids table inviting enough so the kids will want to sit put. For a little while at least... So crafts, activities and practical but FUN decorations are a must!
When life gives you lemons, sometimes is hard to think about making lemonade. Especially when what you reeeally wanted to begin with, was a huge slice of comforting lemon meringue pie :) If my sweet analogy doesn't really cut the lemon curd (sorry...pun intended.), what I'm trying to say is; we don't always get what we want . Stuff happens. But most certainly, there's always, ALWAYS, something to be thankful for!
