Today I'm' sharing the third of the back to school free printables - Editable School Book or Name Tags!
Of course, they match the previous pencil bookmarks and pencil favor box (all editable) shared earlier this week. These book label can be used to personalize school books, homework diaries, but also lunch boxes, pencil cases, back packs, favor bags and more. And you can type in the text you want!
I'll tell you a secret: I am not really keen on living out of sink with the seasons. I'm the person who used to dread seeing Halloween stuff in the shops in August. But due to the nature of my job, things have changed a little, and planning that far ahead is a necessity...Having said that, I'm never quite ready to see winter sweaters for sale in July! And certainly never ready to say goodbye to summer. Ever.
But I also know that it's inevitable, and some people have no choice but to start planning for back to school now. So to make things a little easier, this week I'm sharing some back to school printables: Bookmarks, name tags and super duper cute freebies!
mints as a wedding favor idea. Tic Tac's goal is to "Shake Things Up", and I was thrilled when they asked me to come up with a fun packaging idea for a wedding favor!
Tic Tac® packs remind me confetti, little colored sprinkles, perfect for weddings. So I wanted a modern vibe for the packaging, something that would be meaningful for a wedding, but also add a modern/funky twist to shake thing up ;)
Naturally, I turned to printables. And glitter. 'Cause if you can't have a bit of bling on your wedding day...when can ya?!
So beyond excited (and a tad relieved), to be able to share this news! Been keeping this under wraps since last summer when I got signed to write the book.
The day I received the news, it didn't quite sink in. And all the months that followed. Not until I actually had the printed book in my hands earlier this month, so it's kinda cool that I waited. It feels more real now! :)
Last week I asked our Facebook and Instagram friends to share what kind of printables they'd like me to design for Father's Day, and POP bottle wrappers and argyle pattern were the winners! :)
As always, these free printables are available in the footer of our blog subscriber emails that you'll get in your inbox - If you're not subscribed yet, make sure to do so HERE and you'll get it in tomorrow's email.
TGIF, right?! Well, today I'm on full-on prep for my first book signing event happening tomorrow (will be posting sneaks on Instagram here), so the post is shorter than usual...which is not a bad thing ;)

My son is obsessed with Lego. It's what he asks for every birthday. So when I heard the movie was coming out this year (movie release in most countries February 7th), I couldn't pass the chance to style a little something to celebrate!
So this week, we're taking a breather from all things Valentine, and have loads of fabulous Lego inspired party ideas and tutorials to share on the blog. Starting today, with a DIYLego Inspired Party Pinata + a fun blog hop with some awesome party bloggers!
This year I wanted to design a kid-friendly Valentine's Day freebie that could work for anyone or any age - Think teachers, boys, girls, your latest playground crush, grandparents, BFFs...and because I'm always saying it to the people I love, "YOU ROCK" was my inspiration.
Which of course led to the idea of the guitar design...which in turn made me crave candy (yes, I work in mysterious ways.). Anyways, this is how the humble candy tube turned into a super cool guitar . Pretty simple and quick to make too, but such a cute result, don't you think? :)
