Weekend are crazy busy for me as the summer approaches - Between helping my eldest with his school work, catching up on the house chores from the week, and the hoards of summer parties and posts to plan; I seldom have time to sit and just ponder...And this is why if I can catch some spare time, I run straight to Pinterest !!   Yes, it's become my not-so-guilty pleasure of late. I say not-so-guilty because I treat it more like "research"! ;)

  The Cinco de Mayo-inspired Pinata Birthday Party Printables I designed last year will always be one of my faves and mean a great deal to me, as my dear dad helped me to style it and create some of the decorations for it. And today I'm sharing a couple of really easy fiesta cupcake ideas you can create for your own Cinco de Mayo celebrations or a Pinata Birthday bash using Dulce de Leche and sugar paste fondant - How bad can that be?! :)

Following on from yesterday's Mexican Fiesta Party post, I thought I'd post a quick tutorial on the colorful senorita hair piece I created for the party shoot. These are so easy and quick to make and can be made in advance of your party and handed out as party favors or used to embellish and decorate party tables, favor bags, as brooches, to decorate candy jars, sombreros.

My dad's in town (woo-hoo!!) and he's been seriously helping me out! Not only he plays with the kids, does the washing up (by choice..) , but he also inspires me artistically and actually lends a hand with my party photo shoots and party printable work - Needless to say, the kids are over the moon and so am I! :)
