As promised in my last post, today I'm sharing a recipe for your Easter Brunch today that's super easy, quick and delicious! The beauty is that it can be made the night before , and baked just before brunch on Sunday. Perfect served cold too for Spring and summer picnics!
Easter for us is brunch. It's a tradition. Whether we have guests over or not. And for me, brunch is all about relaxed entertaining . Taking time to enjoy those around the table, and just be be present, together on this special period of the year.
Brunch is always more fun when funky drinks are involved, don't you think?! And for Easter brunch, a Mimosa Bar is ideal to suit all - The healthy folks, the moms, the kids (minus the champers 'course..), the dads and the cocktail lovers like moi. I spent my childhood in Rio, and over there juices are sacred. It's always hot and naturally, fridges are always full of homemade juices; 3 or more tropical fruit flavors at a time. All made from the pure fruits, water and sugar . They're not that hard to make and taste beyond amazing!

When testing the idea, I actually gave my husband a little fright when he opened the egg carton box to make omelet for lunch :D

Wearing green on St Patrick's Day not only ensures you won't get pinched, but it's also meant to bring good luck. But, I do not fancy looking like I took fashion lessons from a leprechaun... Nothing wrong with how they dress per say (if any leprechauns are reading this...), but after the age of 18 it gets a little harder to rock the stripy socks and green wig look ;)
St. Patrick's Day is 'round the corner, and what better appetizer than a creamy houmous, to soak up the lashings of Guinness ?! This is a favorite dip in our house, and makes a welcome appearance on many cocktail parties because it's super easy and quick to make, quite healthy, you can make it a day in advance, and tastes DIVINE! My husband has been know to "drink" the stuff. Neat! So I always make sure I make plenty. And I have a little secret for making it super creamy too!

Okay, so if you subscribe to our blog feed in the promise of a free printable, you'd have noticed we slacked somewhat for January... January is not my fave month. It's not an excuse, just how the cookies crumbles...There I've said it. Between getting the mag ready , fighting attacks of winter colds and sniffles, re-stocking the shops , while doing a blog re-vamp (BTW, not even finished!) = slacking on the freebies printables front. I've been hyping up about the mag for a few weeks now, and so happy to say it's finally out! It's our 11th issue, and I can honestly say one of the most FUN to put together. Mainly because after a few issues, you get to realize what does and what doesn't tick your party boxes! And that quality over quantity is always the way forward. And that if it's not fun, then you might as well forget it! And that LOVE is all you need! ♥

Either that, or a real life remote control that copies and pastes. With an 'undo' button of course! I know a girl can dream, but while this Cinderella waits for technology to catch up with the fairy-tale, there's nothing stopping me playing fairy-godmother...in the party arena at least. And it's a great way to start the new year! 'Cause "being party-fairy-godmother" is a genuine resolution, right?! ;)
