Hello sweet  friends ! Happy to be back with my batteries fully charged for what looks like will be a cray-cray season ahead! Thankfully I spent some time chillaxing at this magical place ...which is handy seen the size of my to-do list  already !  Between   stocking   the shop with some exciting new party goodies (can't wait to share!), prepping a Christmas edition with Créative magazine ,  organizing   three creative workshops in October, not to mention some fun projects with PBS Parents ;  the next few months are  chock-a-block!! 

Don't know about you, but after school snacks are one of my fave meals of the day. For me it's the time to catch up with the kiddos after a long day, and find out what they've been up to at school. So they also need to be fun. And of course healthy. And not fill them up too much so they don't eat dinner.  Quite a few boxes to tick for a humble snack, huh?! So prepping is essential. And I've selected some funky recipes to help make after school snack life a breeze. 

Just because summer is ending, doesn't mean we have to wait until the next Holiday to celebrate. Any excuse for a party, you say?! Too right! In my book you can never have too many parties! But I also don't want anything fussy or formal. So Pinterest has come to the rescue once again. Here are my top 5 fave ideas to make the best of those last days of summer sunshine and warmth , and frankly; to just chill out in good company!

After all, no self-respecting party bar is complete without pretty libations?!  Here are some of my faves, handpicked for their awesome taste but also good look s, 'cause we all know we eat (or drink) with our eyes first. I'm particularly digging all the recipes that contain some sort of herb: thyme, mint, lavender, rosemary ...to make use of my garden bounty this summer! Looks super funky too!!

After I designed yesterday's freebie pencil-shaped bookmarks , I couldn't help but think the designs would make a super cute party box!  My kids LOVED the box so much, and I'm thinking it's the perfect gift box for teacher gifts too (fill it with chalk, candy, pencils...), and of course a back to school party favor box! I'm the person who used to dread seeing Halloween stuff in the shops in August. But due to the nature of my job, things have changed a little, and planning that far ahead is a necessity...Having said that, I'm never quite ready to see winter sweaters for sale in July! And certainly never ready to say goodbye to summer. Ever.  But I also know that it's inevitable, and some people have no choice but to start planning for back to school now. If you follow me on Instagram , would've have seen a  little sneak peak of today's post using Tic Tac ® mints as a wedding favor idea.
