Since we did out Emoji fest back in April , I'm seeing more and more FUN party posts and super cool ideas, recipes, crafts and decor popping up EVERYWHERE ( so many, that I had to start a themed Emoji Party Ideas PIN board ). If you follow along on Instagram, you would have seen a sneaky peek of this Emoji inspired DIY back in February, when I had the light bulb idea of turning these printable Emojifest toppers into funky eggs for Easter! When testing the idea, I actually gave my husband a little fright when he opened the egg carton box to make omelet for lunch :D

Last year we did a round up of gorgeous tablescape for Thanksgiving , so this year we're sharing some fun party ideas for the kids table. This stunning Thanksgiving party was featured first on Bird's Party Magazine a while back, and styled by Alexandra from Enchanted Events and Designs. The idea is to make the Thanksgiving kids table inviting enough so the kids will want to sit put. For a little while at least... So crafts, activities and practical but FUN decorations are a must!
Hello sweet friends ! Happy to be back with my batteries fully charged for what looks like will be a cray-cray season ahead! Hey sweet friends! This week we have a super lush ' baking themed ' party week for ya! So prepare to be dazzle with the eye candy ;) My kids love to bake with me, and when I was designing Bird's Party latest Baking Party Printables , I realized there aren't many ' boy-friendly' baking parties out there, and there should be! There are lots of girly, frilly decorations, so I wanted to design and style something cute, but that would appeal to boys or girls and twins of any age. Come to think of it, these baking party ideas would also be cool for play dates, classroom activities, or a twins birthday ?!

As part of our #SocialCircus month, I decided to make a fun DIY Carousel Centerpiece - But one made with party supplies and candy (is there a better kind?!) that anyone may have in the house at the time of the birthday party. So I raided my party shop and grabbed paper plates , candy tubes and dinky striped paper straws . Not forgetting the adorable Circus printables , and my trusty glue gun of course! ;) This cute carousel centerpiece would be fun as a birthday desserts table candy dish , kids table decoration or even a fun party activity (minus the hot glue!). It's easy to make, quick and inexpensive too!
I styled this Easter Kids Brunch last year for Yum and Food for Kids Magazine. Their Easter issue is out and full of amazing ideas!! And with Easter round the corner, I thought I'd share all the details here on the blog with tips and trick on how you can re-create it at home. It's a very simple and super colorful table that will wow your little bunnies! As part of our inspiration week, we couldn't finish without a super fun theme for the boys . Or girls for that matter, 'cause we actually get just as many sweet customers styling it for their birthday girls ! In fact, the theme came about from my own love of science . You probably don't know this, but I used to be an chemical engineer before parties took over my life...anyways, I relished the chance to design something that included a lab coat, molecular structure designs, and the good ol' test tube . For the Lego party shoot , I had no time to bake a Lego head cake (as I originally wanted ..), so printables came to the rescue once again. I think the bunting idea turned out super cute, which just shows that sometimes less really is more! ;)
