Yay! Finally able to share with you all the details of the fun project I'd been working on for PBS Parents for our ABCs & 123s Birthday Party ! We had a blast styling this super creative party, and thinking of fun and easy ways to carry the theme through the table, decor, food. So there are tons of DIY ideas, recipes (including a DIY cake!), party crafts and easy ideas with full step-by-step instructions on ALL OF IT over at PBS! Not to mention a complete printable party kit to help you pull it off!

If you follow me on Instagram , you'd have seen a few sneak peeks of these cute Santa cake pops , and today I'm sharing the easy step-by-step tutorial. My seven year old daughter helped me with these ( you can see her little hands in the photos, bless ) and they are perfect to entertain little ones over the Holiday period.  

I styled this Easter Kids Brunch last year for Yum and Food for Kids Magazine. Their Easter issue is out and full of amazing ideas!! And with Easter round the corner, I thought I'd share all the details here on the blog with tips and trick on how you can re-create it at home. It's a very simple and super colorful table that will wow your little bunnies! But these unique ideas can also be used for the family table too, simply replace the disposable tableware with fancier china.

Even if I were not a mom, I reckon I'd still find any excuse to play with my food....But luckily I have 2 taste-testers who appreciate my (craziness) efforts. And I can tell you, these little chicks rocked their world!  The main ingredients are simply bread, cheese, and salad veg, but I can assure your little (or big..) ones will love helping you make this colorful and yummy  Easter Chick Spring Salad - Looks so cute as part of Easter brunch menu + is a great way to get them to eat their veg! ;)

I'm an advocate for hand-made, and don't care who knows it. BUT I also don't have a lot of time and like any working mom, budget is always at the forefront of my party planning. And last year for my kid's joint Barnyard Birthday it was no different. I baked, crafted and handmade a lot of the details, including these Apple Cake Pops and mini " Farm Orchard" Centerpiece display for the pops...

Diamonds, move over! Marshmallows are the new  girl's best friend ! :) We all know and love gumball necklaces, right? But I'm a little bit of a rebel, so decided to use marshmallows instead - OK, not much of a rebellion going on, but they are just as cute and as tasty.  Not to mention easy to make! My kid's Barnyard Birthday Party was posted a couple of days ago, but already have a few emails asking me about the cake pop chicks, so I think you're gonna like this post! ;) I was inspired by a fabulously talented friend from Lynlee's Petite Cakes when I made these "Hatching Chick" cake pops - I remembered seeing Lynlee's similar idea using fondant sugar paste and  push-up pops on Bird's Party Magazine Issue 5 , and thought I could make a similar chick but with cake pops instead!
