Man, I love a good party photo booth, don't you?! Especially if it's easy to put together ;) Don't get me wrong, I totally adore those beautifully crafted DIY photo booths full of intricate paper flowers or balloon backdrops we see all over Pinterest . But in reality, for my own party photo booths, I tend to go less OTT and opt for a more low-key version.

Confession time: Despite my love of parties, I never go OTT on costumes for Halloween. And I hate those shop-bought "monstrosities" costumes that you only wear once. But I DO like dressing the part for any party or celebration. So I tend to opt for some funky tee-shirts, crazy tights, makeup or a little black dress ( like in this post ). And almost every time, I reach our for animal ear headbands to complete the look (the mean girls "I'm a mouse, duh!" phrase comes to mind...).

Toffee apples take me right back to childhood. I remember walking past the sweet stands selling them at carnivals and country fairs, and I always pestered my mom to buy them. I totally favored these over cotton candy every time! And autumn is the perfect time to make these delicious, crunchy toffee apples at home. We're all immersed in back to school and experiencing major organisation vibes, so I thought it would be a great time to share with you my DIY home office makeover update! I've been sharing peeks here and there on Instagram and Snapchat since last summer (!) and although it's far from finished (I'm a perfectionist, what can I say...), there have been some major DIYs, painting and decorating going on, that really are helping me enjoy my work space tons more!
My favorite part of back to school season is school supplies, by a mile. It's always been the case for me since I was a child. I think it's the smell of new books...and don't even get me started on the cute pens and paper goods! ;) So now with my own kids, I get to indulge in my stationery obsession when they go back to school. But the DIY way, of course!
