Today is the last day of February and since it's a leap year, I got thinking that a really cute Frog Birthday Party might be a fun theme for any little birthday boy - And of course it reminded me of the very first styled party I created entirely from scratch for my kid's two years ago! The Little Frog printable party collection was one of my early designs, along with my very own matching new fabric designs , first attempt at sugar cookie decorating , first attempt at party cupcake baking , first attempt at sugar lollipop making...you get the picture. So it holds a very special place in my heart!
I just yesterday saw the trailer for the Snow White movie coming out in April, and it looks soooo fab!! But it also reminded me that I still haven't showed you guys the Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Inspired Party I designed!! As much as I love the Disney film and designs, I much prefer a more "vintage" look so I gave these printables a nice twist with some soft pastels and earthy colors to bring out the whimsical side of this classic fairy tale! Hope you like it! :)
I think this original edible decoration from Belle Cake Topper and Mould would make a great alternative to sugar paste fondant, and would look so whimsical on top of a cake or cupcake, don't you think? :)
It's Mardi Gras tomorrow and in the UK and France there's a nice tradition where we eat pancakes or crêpes ...and I thought our FREE printable party tags would look really cute on top of a home-made pancake cake (recipe here)!
