Fall is the perfect season for a woodland themed birthday party, full of cute little forest animals and tasty autumnal treats. So, for our NEW woodland themed printables collection we decided to style a cookies & milk party to celebrate. AND, we're sharing it all on a video below to help give you some cool party ideas and inspiration to re-create the look at home!
Toffee apples take me right back to childhood. I remember walking past the sweet stands selling them at carnivals and country fairs, and I always pestered my mom to buy them. I totally favored these over cotton candy every time! And autumn is the perfect time to make these delicious, crunchy toffee apples at home. Forget bobbing for apples, toffee apples is where it's at! ;) Oh, and did I mention it's super easy too? I love them even more now!
Usually I hate it when summer ends, but this year summer has been so intense, that I really welcomed Fall with open arms! Plus, it's another great opportunity to get back in the kitchen and bake some treats, without fear of putting the oven on.

We're all immersed in back to school and experiencing major organisation vibes, so I thought it would be a great time to share with you my DIY home office makeover update! I've been sharing peeks here and there on Instagram and Snapchat since last summer (!) and although it's far from finished (I'm a perfectionist, what can I say...), there have been some major DIYs, painting and decorating going on, that really are helping me enjoy my work space tons more!
My favorite part of back to school season is school supplies, by a mile. It's always been the case for me since I was a child. I think it's the smell of new books...and don't even get me started on the cute pens and paper goods! ;) So now with my own kids, I get to indulge in my stationery obsession when they go back to school. But the DIY way, of course!

Every time I go in there, I HAVE to stop and smells the scents in the air! Just dreamy... It's such a generous plant, and to me, synonymous with summer. So much so that I decided to pair it with peaches and incorporate it in a cocktail recipe that celebrates the best this season has to offer!
If you're on Instagram you probably would have seen that drip cakes are taking over the cake world right now. Well, ever since I've set eyes on them, I've been itching to bake one! So for our flamingo pool party (see photos here) , I decided to get baking. It turns out, not only drip cakes are not that difficult to make and taste super yum, but they will totally steal the show on any desserts table! :)
Flamingos are my latest obsession . I think it's mainly due the fact that it's the perfect summer party theme. And that they're pink, of course! Not sure they'd be such a hit if they were a different color ;) So for our flamingo pool party last weekend , we (my 8 year old daughter and I) made some DIY flamingo table decorations and headbands that double duty as photo booth props!
Much like pineapples , Flamingos have been trending on the party scene for a couple of years now. And I for one, have been totally itching to style a pink flamingo party FOR EVER! Well, last weekend, we got to do just that. One of my favorite elements of the Party Like Pineapple birthday table was for sure, the balloon and fronds centerpiece! Originally, I wanted to hang a balloons garland above the dessert and drinks station, but when I was making it on the dining table, I realized it would make a fab tropical centerpiece ! And so a new idea was born!
