Saint Patrick's Day is next week, and I could not pass up the opportunity to style a gorgeous green and gold tablescape for the occasion! Table-setting is one of my favorite pastimes, and I've been obsessed with it since I can remember...even prior to having a blog! And since I didn't get to style a Saint Paddy's Day table last year, this year I went for it with a green and gold color palette that's so chic, so sparkly and oh-so pretty!
I love pink and have already styled a pink and copper Christmas tablescape a few years ago ( you can see it here ). But since the pink, plum and gold color combination seems to be very trendy this year, I could not resist! So this year I opted for a palette of blush pink mixed in with burgundy or plum tones and a sprinkling of gold. Because it ain't Christmas without a little bit of bling, am I right?! 💁♀️ Naturally, I called it my "Sugar Plum" Christmas tablescape! My tablescape this year was inspired by the luxurious, tactile and elegant hues of velvet, to create a jewel toned Thanksgiving table decor. You see, I've been obsessed with velvet pumpkins since I saws them on Pinterest last year. So this year, I decided to make my own velvet pumpkins , and chose some gorgeous velvet fabric for the project, which in turn inspired my entire Thanksgiving tablescape!
