Today I bring you some fun DIY nautical decor ideas to help you get crafting and busy this summer! These coastal or beach inspired decor pieces are perfect to decorate your home for the summer, or to style a nautical mantel, a tiered-tray or a coastal farmhouse table for any celebration or dinner party you may be hosting this season! As always, I tried as much as possible to use craft supplies I already had at home, and to recycle "trash" into home decor treasure. So I also encourage you to do the same and re-purpose old objects, decor or to use up whatever you have in your craft stash!

Hi friends, hope you're enjoying the warmer temps wherever you are! As soon as the sun hits, I find myself making refreshing fruity drinks at home, like this pretty and delicious passion fruit lemonade! This recipe is a new take on my Brazilian limeade that I shared here on the blog a while back. But this lemonade is made with lemons (not limes) and tangy, sweet passion fruit for an exotic vibe!

Last year, I created a bunch of lemon themed posts here for the blog , but did not have time to style a tablescape. So I decided to style this lemon table this year, with a modern farmhouse vibe and using props and decor I already had at home.  I wanted to create an easy table decor that was pretty and fresh, and that  would be perfect for any celebration that summer brings, no matter how small. Here are some of my zingy ideas below!

Last year, I shared quite a few lemon theme party DIYs, crafts and recipes here on the blog , and I fell in love with the theme! Now that the warmer weather is here, I thought I'd share some easy DIY decor ideas that you can use to decorate a table, your mantel, patio or terrace for the summer. Being at home so much these days, has allowed me to embark on a bunch of DIY and craft projects that I'd been putting off for a while, like these farmhouse risers and stands. I used these farmhouse risers mainly for home decor purposes, but wanted to share them with you guys here on the blog, because I think they'd make great table centerpieces too! A food board is one of my favorite ways to serve snacks, treats and even main course dinner, like in the case of this Taco board. When I first started blogging, the blog was dedicated mostly to crafts and DIY projects. Being at home some much these days, I find myself going back to these earlier blogging roots and crafting my worries away, whenever I can. Hence all the strawberry-themed DIY crafts I'm about to share with you! I love to bake and lately I've been having a lot of fun in the kitchen coming up with easy recipes that involve only a few ingredients, supplies and produce that I already have in my pantry, store-cupboard or fridge. Current times oblige, right? 😉 This is how this classic English trifle with store-cupboard ingredients and frozen raspberries was born! Initially, I planned to make the trifle with strawberries, but the stores had run out of berries 🤷‍♀️ so my husband suggested I use frozen raspberries instead.

Since we've been at home a lot these days, I find myself passing the time and keeping busy by crafting and sharing my creations over on my YouTube channel ( you can check it out here ). If you follow me on YouTube , you'll have probably seen in my last craft haul video , the cutest Easter cookie cutters I received from one of the brands I work with. So naturally, I could not pass up the opportunity to get baking with my new cookie cutters, hence these adorable Easter sugar cookies that are so yummy and pretty in pastel colors!

Last year I styled a family table for Easter , so this year I decided to create a tablescape that was more fit for the kids. Now, more than ever, I find the need to celebrate the everyday. Finding beauty and comfort in the smallest, "mundane" things, treasuring family time and remembering that no matter how frightening things may seem, that there's always something to be grateful for and to celebrate!

Saint Patrick's Day is next week, and I could not pass up the opportunity to style a gorgeous green and gold tablescape for the occasion! Table-setting is one of my favorite pastimes, and I've been obsessed with it since I can remember...even prior to having a blog! And since I didn't get to style a Saint Paddy's Day table last year, this year I went for it with a green and gold color palette that's so chic, so sparkly and oh-so pretty!

Saint Patrick's Day is coming up, so I thought I'd make a delicious and pretty dessert befitting the occasion, hence this chocolate layer cake with a delicious Baileys condensed milk frosting ! This layer cake recipe is an adaptation of this  chocolate cupcake with Baileys frosting that I shared here on the blog a few years ago. But this time around, I wanted to try my hand at Russian buttercream or sweet condensed milk frosting that I recently came across on YouTube !

If you make just one thing to celebrate Mardi Gras today, than make these super easy, delicious Oreo truffles ! Besides looking so pretty and festive adorned in gold edible glitter, these Oreo truffles are so easy to make and involve NO baking whatsoever. You're welcome! 😋

Do you celebrate Mardi Gras? This year, I decided to deck out my bar cart for Mardi Gras, in the quintessential Louisiana Mardi Gras colors of purple, yellow, greens and gold. To crown it all off, I'm also sharing a delicious Cajun Bloody Mary cocktail recipe, which is perfect to add to your bar cart and serve at your Mardi Gras party!

For my Valentine's Day decor this year I made this red hot lips pillow to add a pop of color to my studio. You might have spotted this red lips pillow in our last blog post where I shared the decor for my Valentine's Day mantel? Well, I absolutely LOVE how this pillow turned out, and it's one of my most fav DIYs to date! This lips accent pillow adds such a fun touch to any Valentine's Day decor, and they'd make great presents for your Galentines or BFFs! 👄

This year, for the first time ever, I decided to decorate my studio mantel for Valentine's Day! For the wall above the mantel, I had the idea to make a large balloon heart structure that would also double as a photo-booth backdrop. These balloon structures have been trending on the party scene and Pinterest for a few years, and this was the perfect opportunity to have a go at making my own!
