This year, Christmas may look a more scaled-down and different, but that doesn't mean we can't set up a pretty, cozy table to celebrate and give thanks for all the blessings we have in our lives! Am I right?! 🙏 So, I have opted for quite a relaxed, fuss-free style this year, with lots of natural wood touches to create a modern, neutral farmhouse Christmas tablescape . This year, Christmas at ours will be a little more chilled out and relaxed, so my décor will also be a reflection of that. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year, and after a tough year, I don't want to stress over elaborate décor. So I took my inspiration from nature to start the decorating process, with the styling of my mantel in a neutral farmhouse style . The DIY projects for this décor style are also inexpensive and super easy. Again, reflecting the peaceful and natural atmosphere I want to create at home.

I love pink and have already styled a pink and copper Christmas tablescape a few years ago ( you can see it here ). But since the pink, plum and gold color combination seems to be very trendy this year, I could not resist! So this year I opted for a palette of blush pink mixed in with burgundy or plum tones and a sprinkling of gold. Because it ain't Christmas without a little bit of bling, am I right?! 💁‍♀️ Naturally, I called it my "Sugar Plum" Christmas tablescape! December is 'round the corner so it's the perfect time to be thinking about your Advent Calendars!  I always seem to leave it too late, I must confess. But this year, I pulled my crafty stash out last week and made this baby in one afternoon with the help of my little elves 😊 ( Did you see my Instagram stories? ) Seriously, it's the perfect, EASY craft for an afternoon with the kiddos! Plus, it doesn't hurt that it shimmers with all sorts of metallic ornaments and pretty glitter, shiny papers, right?! 

Happy New Year, party friends! It's been a while since I last posted, but after all the end-of year celebrations, come January and I feel all partied out! Are you the same? Anyways, we gotta get motivated somehow...and although winter is not my fav, there's still ways we can make the most of these cold months - hello  hot toddy  and  homemade marshmallows ! 😉

As part of my green and gold Christmas Holiday tablescape , I made these cute DIY glitter ornaments to act as place-card holders on my party table. They helped add a little shimmer and sparkle to each place-setting, and were SO easy and quick to make! I made them the night before the party. Just shows you can create something special and last-minute, without much effort. And THAT is my fav kind of craft!! 😉
