Did you catch the super awesome Superhero themed birthday party we shared earlier in the week? It was super creative and gave me the idea to use some of the printables to create a super colorful cupcake stand. This DIY is mega easy and you can make larger stands by varying the sizes, or even make several tiers like in this tutorial I shared a while back . The principle is the exact same.
For my Mediterranean inspired party ( see photos here ), I wanted to use some funky, abstract art napkins to match my relaxed blue tablescape. But it wasn't meant to be, so I had no choice but to make my own! The technique is super easy and works a treat for re-purposing old fabrics or thrift store linens you may have around the house.

Pineapples have been trending on the party seen for a couple of years now, and the trend doesn't seem to fade! So if you too are ready to jump on this tropical bandwagon and ' party like a pineapple ', then this easy and fun to make DIY has your name on it ;)

Easy DIY Autumnal Floral Centerpiece
As you saw in my Thanksgiving tablescape post here , my floral arrangement was a DIY jobbie. DIY is not only something I love, because it makes me try out new skills and ideas; but also it's often something of a necessity when I can't quite buy what I need for a particular project or photo shoot. And floral centerpieces or arrangements for me, ALWAYS fall under the 'urgh, I just can't get anything cute 'round here...' category. So DIY is the only available option :)
DIY Easy Calligraphy Thanksgiving Poster
I've had a love for beautifully handwritten notes and calligraphy since I was a child. You see, back in the days, we used to do calligraphy at school to learn how to write properly. Big time!
