I could eat Mexican food every day, and with Cinco de Mayo approaching gives me the perfect excuse to gorge myself on my fave fiesta recipes ;) You may remember the kiddies Pinata Party we styled a few years back? Well, this year I really wanted a more grown up vibe for our fiesta, complete with a Mojito Bar, which I'll share later in the week!
Spring's in full bloom, true. But still can't avoid those April showers, so we might as well celebrate them. Because if nothing else, that's when we're more likely to see a pretty rainbow! ;) And who doesn't love rainbows?! The colors are an instant pick me up, and perfect for injecting a little cheer into our seasonal birthdays, baby showers or any other celebration this time of year!
Mildly entertaining true story: I planned to shoot this Cherry Blossom Cocktail recipe with the beautiful cherry flowers we have in our cherry trees. But when it came to the shoot day, the blossom were all washed out by the rain! Shock horror! But I soon spotted that our peach trees were in fact blossoming (and looked pretty similar to the cherry ones..) and so decided to Google it, and lo and behold; it turns out they are just as edible as cherry blossom. Phew!
My kids can't get enough of French crepes. They love it so much, that we make it together nearly every Sunday! Crepes are a type of thin pancake, super easy to make and you can add any filling to make them into a delicious dessert. The most famous perhaps, being the French crepe suzette recipe, flambéed with with Grand Marnier and orange.
Spring is synonymous with flowers, but also with the humble bumble bee. And it's so heartbreaking to read everywhere that bees are on the verge of extinction :( ( you can read more on this subject here ). But if it's up to us party lovers, bee themed parties and events are here to stay, right?! We ♥ the bumble bees 'round here and this sweet theme is perfect for Spring weddings, showers, luncheons and birthdays of any age!

And marble contact paper with copper tape. Yes, marble contact paper, along with copper tape; are two of my current obsessions when it comes to DIY party decor. And these plate chargers are some of the (many) fruits of that obsession. You're welcome ;)
I first made these sugar lollipops for my kids garden party some years ago (read it here ) . Back then, I didn't have a lollipop mold or a candy thermometer, but they turned out great nonetheless! Fast forward six years, and now that I own a proper mold, the possibilities are endless, my friends! Like adding edible flowers and Spring bloom to make it into a more grown-up version ;)

I'm not a great lover of seafood, but add it to pasta, and I'm front of the queue! For Easter this year, I decided to turn up the volume on my usual seafood linguine recipe with a Bloody Mary inspired sauce , which is great for entertaining and dinner parties over this weekend!
Easter is 'round the corner and I'm on a hunt for a pretty Spring midi skirt, which will take me from now all the way 'til summer. Floral patterns never really seem to go out of fashion in Spring, but I've spotted other designs that are totally dreamy, like the artsy one above! Swoon...
Last year we had a mimosa bar as part of our Easter brunch ( you can see it here ). It was such a hit with everyone, that this year I'm still going the self-service bar for brunch. But with waffles! The cute bunnies from our traditional Easter Printable Kit are the perfect match for this "Hoppy Easter" styling. I like that's it's not too girly, since my boy wouldn't approve anyways ;)
Bunny and Easter eggs crafts are not in shortage on Pinterest . But I tend to seek out EASY craft and DIY ideas that kids can help to make...or something that I can put in a ' craft kit' format for parties, like for Easter brunch. And this year, I'm giving the kiddos these cute DIY Easter Bunny candy tube kits so we can all have fun making crafting cuteness at Easter!
There's nothing more gratifying than tucking into a beautiful and delicious cupcake for any occasion: - Is it your birthday? Yay, this calls for cupcakes! - Have you passed your driving test? Yay, this calls for cupcakes! - Got engaged? We need cupcakes! - Got dumped? Definitely a call for cupcakes! So you see, baking the perfect cupcake should totally be on everyone's bucket list, 'cause you're bound to need them at some point in life ;)

I love how simple these are to make with materials you already probably have at home , and in no time at all you have something super cute but also practical that does double-duty as table decor! ;) Kids can totally help too, and in fact, would make a cute St Paddy's Day gift for teachers and class mates too!
With St Paddy's Day 'round the corner, I find myself drawn to all things green and gold. And ever since this post last year, I have been itching to get to style a simple green tablescape with pretty shiny accents! Plus, it also gives me an excuse to use my recent metallic tableware acquisitions ;)
One of my resolutions this year is to bake more cakes. Cupcakes still hold a special place in my heart, don't get me wrong; but there's something about a cake that just screams "celebration", don't you think?! I just love cakes! And in life, you're bound to need a cake at some point, so perfecting those cake decorating skills is a necessity, really. Even if you're not a party blogger!

As part of my Valentine's Dinner party menu that I shared in my previous post ( here ) ; I'm serving pink champagne jello with red berries and cream . Something about jello that evokes 'fun', don't you think? Maybe it's because it's a dessert we associate with kids, and therefore takes us back to our childhood days. But for a grown-up update on this favorite classic, I added pink champagne and red berries. Which makes a super tasty, not to mention pretty in pink dessert for Valentine's Day ! :)
Super Bowl is 'round the corner and this is THE recipe you need for quick and easy entertaining! It's a super delicious dip too, and if you serve with veggies on the side like I did here , it turns into a much healthier appetizer. But you could just eat it by the spoonfuls too. Well, I could.
