Do you know how to knit? If so, then this post is probably NOT for you 😁 I can't knit to save my life, but I have recently bought a knitting machine/gadget that makes the coolest knitted tubes (is that the name?) of yarn. You can then transform these knitted yarn "tubes" into all sorts of creations, like these macramé style rainbows!

DIY Cactus Place Card Holders
I'm forever in search on fun activities to keep the kids amused and entertained during spring break, so craft projects often come to my rescue! Now that my kids are a little older, finger painting just doesn't cut it as a craft anymore, 😋 but luckily, they love polymer clay for creating fun and useful objects like key-rings, jewelry, photo-holders, etc. These DIY cactus place-card holders are our latest craft project, and they're perfect for celebrating Cinco de Mayo, which is nearly upon us!
DIY Boho Tablescape Decor
Hello friends! I've been taking some time off to work on some cool new content for the blog, so please excuse my short absence. To kick the season off, I've styled a simple and fresh tablespace inspired by all things boho and with a modern Scandinavian vibe. I think this style is perfectly suited to a spring dinner party, brunch or a mother's day celebration at home!

Rainbow Grazing Board for Saint Patrick's Day
Have you ever made a grazing board? It's one of my favorite ways to serve a NO-cook, fun and interactive meal to my family, whatever the occasion or celebration! You have probably seen the cheese and charcuterie board I did last month for Valentine's Day , so this month I thought I'd create a fun rainbow colored grazing board, which would be perfect for celebrating St. Patrick's Day at home! This grazing board looks SO pretty and is packed with all sorts of yummy fruits and vegetables, making it super healthy too! 😉
Easter is fast approaching, and if you bake nothign else this year, then bake this delicious carrot cake! This carrot cake is packed with delicious ingredients, and has a super moist crumb. Not to mention the mega easy, silky smooth cream cheese frosting on top! The frosting is made with condensed milk instead of powdered sugar, and is my favorite frosting by far!

Do you celebrate with pancakes day on Mardi Gras? It's tradition in our house, and this year I'll be making my kids favorites - banana and oatmeal pancakes for pancake day! 🥰 These healthier pancakes have become a staple at our house, and we cook them for breakfast often. They're like a healthy bowl of oatmeal, but in pancake form, which pleases the whole family! Plus, they're SO easy to make in a blender, and quite inexpensive too!
A Valentine's Day Party For Two
Today's GORGEOUS party offers the perfect scenario for a romantic, intimate and simply delightful celebration for Valentine's Day! This party was sent to us by Camille Normandin, Designer and Founder @Living by Cami interiors, based in Toronto. The incredible details of this event are also very inspiring for a small wedding or even a bridal shower!
Valentine's Day Cheese and Charcuterie Board
Grazing boards are still as popular as ever! I've seen (and made myself) quite a few variations on the classic cheese and charcuterie boards - I've made vegetables grazing boards , chocolate grazing boards , brunch boards , and even a Taco Board ! But the classic, savory cheese and charcuterie is what my family likes best. So for this Valentine's Day, I lovingly put together a "pretty in pink " (and red 😁) cheese and charcuterie board filled with yummy treats to celebrate love day at home!

If you ask me, there's no better way to celebrate the end of football season than with a delicious spread on game day! This year, our celebrations may look a little different, but that doesn't mean we can't still craft the perfect game-day experience at home with delicious treats and snacks for the whole family! So, today I'm sharing with you a couple of t asty, quick and easy recipes AND some fun FREE printables for your game-day party at home!
If you like easy, modern and art, than this post is for you! I've been taking a little time off blogging (not sure you noticed...) and one of the things I enjoyed doing during my break, was painting. Hence, these easy DIY modern wall art acrylic paintings ! I'm no professional artist, but I love creating DIY artwork to display in my home (you can see some here , here and here ). I think it's far more meaningful than buying art, more pleasurable too and a LOT more affordable! 😉
Christmas is when I bake the most. Every weekend, it's a new cookie recipe I like to try. And these days, I find myself reaching for my gluten free brownie cookies over and over again! These brownie cookies are fudgy in the center and slightly crisp on the edges. They pack a huge chocolate flavor and have that umami note that make it my (and my family's) favorite cookies EVER! I love brownies. And cookies. So the idea of combining both brownies AND cookies into an easy-to-make recipe, is for me, the embodiment of Holiday baking 😉
Neutral Farmhouse Christmas Tablescape with Easy DIY Décor
This year, Christmas may look a more scaled-down and different, but that doesn't mean we can't set up a pretty, cozy table to celebrate and give thanks for all the blessings we have in our lives! Am I right?! 🙏 So, I have opted for quite a relaxed, fuss-free style this year, with lots of natural wood touches to create a modern, neutral farmhouse Christmas tablescape . Hope you enjoy the ideas! 😍
I recently saw a recipe for stained glass cookies made with hard candy or boiled sweets. They looked so pretty, but because I'm not a huge fan of those candies, I decided to make my own stained glass Christmas cookies using hard caramels instead. I chose regular-flavor hard caramels, as well as coffee and lemon flavored ones for a more "grown-up" twist on this recipe. The result is a less transparent cookie for the opaque caramel, but that tastes infinitely better in my opinion! 😉
Neutral Farmhouse DIY Christmas Décor
This year, Christmas at ours will be a little more chilled out and relaxed, so my décor will also be a reflection of that. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year, and after a tough year, I don't want to stress over elaborate décor. So I took my inspiration from nature to start the decorating process, with the styling of my mantel in a neutral farmhouse style . The DIY projects for this décor style are also inexpensive and super easy. Again, reflecting the peaceful and natural atmosphere I want to create at home.
This year, I decided to scale things down a bit. Therefore, I will spend less time scouring the shops to buy gifts, in favor of handmade or homemade presents. Not only this is infinitely less stressful, but it give me much more pleasure to make something by hand, helps me pass the time, and is far better for my wallet too! 😉 Hence this delicious, handmade (or homemade) lime marmalade , which is perfect to include in Holiday food hampers, to give to neighbors, as Christmas stocking fillers, or to add to your festive cheese boards at home!
Some of my favorite ways to spend quality time with my kids during the holiday period, is to craft and to bake together. And this year, more than any other, the focus will truly be on family and faith! So rather than share lavish party ideas here on the blog, I've been creating some content that's suppose to nurture those feelings of home, togetherness and of slowing down to focus on what Christmas is truly about. Starting with this tiered DIY Christmas village advent calendar . It's a fun, easy craft project that your can do with the kids, and bring it out year after year as a family keepsake!
Fall rhymes with pies and tarts, am I right? All that wonderful, seasonal produce is just begging to be included in the most comforting recipes. But to be honest, I don't always have those pretty farmer's market fresh fruit and veg to hand when I fancy a slice of pie (or tart). So this is where my Bakewell Tart recipe comes in SO handy! This tart recipe uses all store cupboard (shop bought) ingredients, is super easy to make and comes together in a flash!
Last year for Halloween, I made a super delicious chocolate and orange layer cake with meringue ghost toppers . So this year, I wanted to bake something tasty, but a lot quicker and simpler too. Something which you could actually bake with the kiddos at home for Halloween. Therefore, I came up with these delicious Halloween chocolate cupcakes with condensed milk frosting (also known as the most delicious, silky smooth, quick and EASY homemade chocolate frosting EVER) topped with the cutest fondant ghost toppers! 👻
