For my Dia de Los Muertos dinner part , I made delicious Mexican Almond Horchata to serve to my guests alongside our fun sugar skull cookies (recipe for the cookies here). Horchata is a delicious, non-alcoholic drink that is perfect for the whole family and ideal for fall entertaining! It's traditionally served cold over ice, but my kids love it as a warm drink on cold days!
My obsession with these cookie cakes started this summer when I made my very first cookie cake in the shape of a pineapple . Since then, I've been dreaming up other fun shapes to create, hence today's Jack-O'-Lantern inspired Halloween cookie cake! This cookie cake is SO easy to make and combines the best of both cookie and cake worlds - buttery shortbread cookies, sandwiched together with chocolate cream cheese frosting, topped with ridiculous amounts of candy. Well, it is Halloween after all! 🎃🍬👻

Even since my daughter and I watched the Disney Pixar film Coco , I've been dying to style a Dia de Los Muertos or Day of The Dead dinner party! Inspired by the film, I set off to create a colorful and vibrant tablescape, and to design some themed Dia de Los Muertos party printable invitations and matching printable decor kit for the occasion!

Summer is upon us, and apart from drinking sangria all day, I'm dreaming about crafting all sorts of fun, colorful and seasonal party accessories, like these custom summer sun hats! Father's Day is this Sunday, and if you need easy, no-cooking-involved, no-fuss but totally delicious ideas to celebrate dad, then this Cheese and Beer Tasting party is IT!
